The Ventura Community Resources Expo exists to strengthen the well-being of our community by bringing together trusted local organizations, public agencies, nonprofit partners, and service providers in one accessible, welcoming space. Our mission is to connect individuals and families with essential resources that support health, housing stability, employment, education, financial resilience, and overall quality of life.

     Housing stability is foundational to individual well-being, family security, and a thriving community. The Ventura Community Resources Expo is committed to connecting residents with housing-related resources that promote safe, affordable, and sustainable living options for all.


    Our housing focus is designed to bring together local housing authorities, nonprofit organizations, legal aid providers, financial counselors, developers, and social service agencies to offer guidance on rental assistance, homeownership opportunities, tenant rights, homelessness prevention, housing navigation, and supportive services. By centralizing these resources in one accessible forum, we aim to reduce barriers, increase awareness, and empower residents to make informed decisions about their housing needs.


    Through collaboration, education, and direct access to trusted partners, the Expo seeks to strengthen housing security across Ventura—supporting individuals and families in achieving stability, dignity, and long-term resilience.

     Mental health is an essential part of overall health and a cornerstone of a strong, resilient community. The Ventura Community Resources Expo is committed to promoting mental and emotional well-being by connecting residents with accessible, culturally responsive, and evidence-based mental health resources and support services.


    Our mental health focus brings together licensed clinicians, community mental health agencies, crisis intervention teams, peer support organizations, substance use treatment providers, and wellness practitioners to offer education, screenings, referrals, and practical guidance. By creating a safe, stigma-free environment, we aim to normalize conversations around mental health, encourage early intervention, and empower individuals and families to seek the support they need.


    Through collaboration, awareness, and compassionate outreach, the Expo seeks to strengthen Ventura’s mental health ecosystem—fostering hope, resilience, and recovery for people of all ages and backgrounds.

     Access to nutritious food is a basic human need and a vital foundation for health, learning, and economic stability. The Ventura Community Resources Expo is committed to addressing food insecurity by connecting residents with reliable, dignified, and culturally appropriate food resources and nutrition support services.


    Our food security focus brings together local food banks, pantries, community kitchens, nutrition educators, urban agriculture programs, farmers’ market organizations, and public assistance providers to share information on meal programs, SNAP/WIC benefits, senior nutrition services, and healthy eating initiatives. By centralizing these resources in one accessible setting, we aim to reduce hunger, improve awareness of available support, and empower families to make informed nutritional choices.


    Through collaboration, education, and community-driven partnerships, the Expo seeks to strengthen Ventura’s food system—ensuring that every resident has access to nourishing food that supports long-term health, dignity, and resilience.

    Veterans are a vital part of the Ventura community, bringing leadership, service, and resilience to every sector of civic life. The Ventura Community Resources Expo is committed to honoring that service by ensuring veterans, service members, and their families have direct access to the resources and support they have earned and deserve.

    Our veterans focus brings together federal, state, and local agencies; accredited service organizations; nonprofit partners; healthcare providers; housing and employment programs; legal aid services; and educational institutions to provide guidance on benefits, healthcare, mental health support, housing stability, workforce development, and family services. 


    By centralizing these trusted partners in one accessible forum, we aim to reduce barriers, simplify navigation of complex systems, and improve awareness of available assistance.

    Through collaboration, respect, and community-driven outreach, the Expo seeks to strengthen the continuum of care for Ventura’s veteran population—supporting successful transitions, long-term stability, and an enhanced quality of life for those who have served and their families.

The Ventura Community Resources Expo is committed to connecting seniors and their families with resources that promote healthy aging, financial security, social connection, and quality of life.


    Our elder focus brings together healthcare providers, aging services organizations, caregiver support groups, housing specialists, legal and financial advisors, transportation services, and community wellness programs to offer guidance on Medicare and Medi-Cal, in-home care, assisted living options, nutrition programs, fall prevention, fraud protection, and social engagement opportunities. By centralizing these services in one accessible and welcoming environment, we aim to reduce barriers, improve awareness, and empower older adults to make informed decisions about their evolving needs.


    Through collaboration, education, and compassionate outreach, the Expo seeks to strengthen Ventura’s aging support network—ensuring that seniors can age with dignity, independence, and connection within the community they call home.

The Ventura Community Resources Expo is committed to connecting residents with trusted legal resources that help protect their rights, resolve disputes, and navigate complex legal systems with confidence.


    Our legal aid focus brings together nonprofit legal service providers, pro bono attorneys, court-based assistance programs, and advocacy organizations to offer guidance on housing and tenant rights, family law, immigration, benefits access, consumer protection, employment law, expungement, and estate planning. By centralizing these services in one accessible and welcoming environment, we aim to reduce barriers to legal support, increase awareness of available assistance, and empower individuals and families to make informed legal decisions.


    Through collaboration, education, and community-driven outreach, the Expo seeks to strengthen legal equity in Ventura—ensuring that all residents, regardless of income or background, have access to fair, reliable, and compassionate legal support
